When I began working with ARM templates, I noticed there were two parameters that Microsoft always included in the default template. These parameters were used in the template, but generally never had a value assigned to them. I&amp;rsquo;m talking about:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I decided it was time to understand the reason for these parameters and how to best take advantage of them. I find that a lot of people don&amp;rsquo;t understand these fields.
